Childers Family Shoot

November 30th, 2008

Okay so this was a big one. Two families of five and the grandparents. Plus it was too cold outside to get the shots I would normally like to get so we had to be a little creative. Here in Omaha there is this sweet area downtown called The Old Market. It’s just a few block area downtown that was never demolished for the big skyscraper buildings (okay so we don’t have any…what you would call skyscrapers, but just go with me). Inside the Old Market there is a small, kind of underground, passageway. This was our location for this shoot. Let me just say, considering the number of small children, this shoot went pretty smooth. Thanks everyone for hanging out with me and getting some fun pictures.

I will be adding a few more images later today, so be sure and check back.

"Sneak" Peek

November 17th, 2008

Not long after doing the infant session with Olivia I was able to go back over and get some shots of her older brother and sister. I heard Quinn ask if he could wear his pirate shoes and his mom responded with “sure, your feet wont be in the picture anyway.” So you know I had to get a shot of his sweet pirate shoes. I will post more from this session in a few days.

I was lucky enough to get to do a newborn session for some good friends the other day. Olivia was asleep when I got to the house so I rushed to get going before she woke up but that was pointless because as you will see from the images she woke up before the first shot… which ended up being a blessing because she has some sweet blue eyes. And the best part about the entire shoot was she peed all over her dad as soon as we took her clothes off… it was classic.
