On Valentines day I shot a very low key wedding in Nebraska City at the Lied Lodge. Low key as in 8 total people. It was a lot of fun though. I wasn’t sure if I was even going to blog this wedding but it’s the slow season and there are some fun shots to share. Plus with only 8 people I was able to get right in the action and get shots you would never be able to get at a traditional wedding. So the ring shot and the vow shot were taken during the actual ceremony.
Thanks Rick & Jessica for the amazing Valentines Day buffet. It was great being with you guys on your special day.

These shots are a little more “flashy” then I normally like, but hey it was dark. There were some ladies singing in the lounge area so we asked if they would sing a special song for Rick & Jessica to have their first dance. Then we turned it into a dance floor for everyone.

So glad you blogged it! I love intimate weddings.
Yeah! Matt you did a great job! You went above and beyound! Thanks for making the weekend perfect for all eight people! You are the man!
Wow…those are so fun. Thanks for capturing the memories of the day!
Your great!
Matt,
The pictures are fabulous! YOu are an extremely creative, artistic and talented photographer. We can’t wait to see the rest of them! Thank you so much for capturing the special moments of our wedding day! I was so thrilled to learn that you were coming to take pictures for us. What a wonderful surprise! Now, not only will Rick and I have beautiful pictures to enhance our memories for a lifetime, but they were truly the funnest pictures I’ve ever taken! It was a pleasure meeting you and inviting you to join our special day. Thank you so much!
