Thats right people! 2 blog posts in one day… I know its crazy but true. This one comes to you from the great city of Chicago. In June I was heading to Chicago to shoot an engagement session for one of my awesome couples, Kate + Jarod (which I will post soon), so while I was there I begged the amazing Jessica Claire to let me second shoot for her at a wedding she was shooting there the same weekend. I don’t normally post weddings that I second shoot at, but its not every day you get to shoot in venues like this or with photographers like Jessica. So I hope you enjoy!

This next shot is a little soft, but I just love the look between these two right before they walk down the aisle.

They catered in White Castle for a late night snack. If you’ve never had White Castle… consider yourself very lucky. But it makes for some fun photos.

A few weeks back I was able to shoot a family session for the Nunamaker family. When I shoot family portraits I try my best to make them interesting. This time I borrowed a sweet old school couch from my friend Cara (who is also a great photographer… you should check her out www.cbyatesphotography.com).

So one of my closest friends went through a mid-life crisis at 29 and bought himself a corvette. I would have bought the new Camaro, but hey… to each his own. While I was in Dallas he asked me to take a good picture of his new baby… actually he asked me to take a picture of his car with his wife on it… in her bikini… you know Def Leopard style. She, on the other hand, was not up for that idea. Anyway, I thought the shot turned out pretty cool so I thought I would share.
