Its been quite a while since I shot Angie and Patrick’s engagement session, but we are coming up on their wedding so I figured it was time to post this session. From the very beginning of the evening they were very adamant that they were “not very good at taking pictures”. This turned out to be very untrue. In fact they were one of the most laid back, free flowing couples I have shot in a while. We started in a nice grassy field then made our way downtown for a little bit of a different feel. We ended the night with some drinks at my favorite sushi bar in town, Blue Sushi.

Gorgeous light, beautiful location, and a stunning couple. Great job Matt!
Love the off camera lighting too! You’ve been rocking that lately.
great stuff! love the field!
That last picture’s got to be upstairs at Blue Sushi. I always thought that would be a killer location to do an engagement shoot.
Of course I would figured that out if I had read the post first; I guess that nixes my first comment… Let me try again.
I’m really drawn to the color street shot – something about the harsh shadows from the couple and the soft headlights in the background… I really enjoy looking at it.
Number to is a dream. I especially love it!
Number two is a dream. I especially love it!
love this session… you rock!
Great shoot man! That’s some mighty fine off camera flash work going on there.
