I have been looking forward to posting these since the day I shot them. Pat and Angie’s wedding was this Friday so I am finally in the clear and can share these images with you. These were done as kind of a test shoot for me. Bridal sessions are not nearly as popular in the mid-west as they are down south, but I really enjoy them and would love to do more of them. I told Angie I would be happy to give her a free bridal session if she would allow me to experiment a little with lighting and posing and she was totally up for it. So we headed down to the awesome Magnolia Hotel in downtown Omaha, and I went for a “high fashion” feel. Here’s what we got.

And we had to throw in some good old natural light stuff out in the courtyard. This is also where the wedding was held. Look for that post coming soon.

  1. Shaun Menary says: This session is 'off the chain' as the kids say. Seriously fantastic!

How lucky are you that you get to check out two posts in one… You’re welcome.

Back in June I had the opportunity to head up to Chicago to shoot Kate and Jarod’s engagement photos. They were such a blast to work with, plus Chicago is one of my favorite cities on earth. Here are some shots from their session in Chicago.

After our time together in Chi-town I was very excited to be a part of their wedding day. Here are some of my favorites from their very bright and colorful wedding at the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln.

This last one is just a little different take on the same location. I really enjoy interjecting a few shots that are just a touch different. This one happens to be my favorite of the day.
