I think Fall may be the best time of year to take photos. The only downside is… So does everyone else. Which means the schedule can get a little crazy. Thankfully Adam, Kara and I took the time to squeeze in a morning session on Saturday, and I’m really glad we did.  The colors in some of these shots are nuts.

For this final shot I couldn’t decide what I liked better in black and white or color. I’d love to hear your opinion.

My boys in 2010

October 8th, 2010

I will blog some wedding stuff soon… I promise. But first, here are some shots of my boys that I took this past week in Dallas, TX. These are my favorite pictures I have ever taken of my boys. This will be the last time I can use the blog title “my boys”. We are getting closer and closer to going to get our daughter from Ethiopia. I CAN’T WAIT!! If for some reason you’re interested in knowing more about our adoption story you can check out our adoption blog www.paddackadoption.com

Last night I had the opportunity to go shoot some portraits of David Potter for his upcoming CD release. I don’t really know David well. We’ve talk a number of times but we haven’t ever spent much time together. But one thing is clear when you met him, he’s not a rock star. He’s just not that kind of guy. So I wanted to be careful that I didn’t try and put him in a situation that didn’t connect with who he really is. We kept it laid back and organic. Here are some of my favorites.
