I will blog some wedding stuff soon… I promise. But first, here are some shots of my boys that I took this past week in Dallas, TX. These are my favorite pictures I have ever taken of my boys. This will be the last time I can use the blog title “my boys”. We are getting closer and closer to going to get our daughter from Ethiopia. I CAN’T WAIT!! While I was in Orange County to shoot a wedding with Michael Norwood & Jessica Claire, Michael and I had a free evening and decided to take a trip up the coast. We drove until we found a little hole in the wall pizza place in Balbo, but before that we stopped in Laguna to take a few images. I have lived in California before but I am still amazed at the beauty of the beach at sunset. All I have to say is, beaches are awesome and we should really get one of these in Omaha. Here are a few “just for fun” images from our trip. Check back soon to see the images from the wedding.

Okay this is a blog and blogs are supposed to be fun right? So while we were shooting the sunset on the beach we noticed another photo shoot going on very near to us. This little sequence of shots is: the other shoot going on (you’ll have to look close), Michael noticing the shoot, then Michael telling me what he just noticed. We will chalk this up as something that only happens in Southern California.

Here is the final shot of the day. Also I realized there are no images of me on the blog so if you were curious… here you go. Thanks Michael for making me look decent.

So while we’re here in Texas for the holidays we got the chance to do a shoot with some of our best friends on earth. We hate living so far from these guys but are so lucky to have friends like the Hawthornes.

Clint and Amanda have recently become cowboy boot wearers. Now if you’re not from Texas you may assume that everyone from Texas wears boots… actually not true at all. I have never owned a pair of boots. But to be honest, they may be close to convincing me to try some. All that to say… I had to get a shot of their boots.
