I had the honor of photographing Jason and Teresa’s wedding this past Saturday. It was one of only a few morning weddings I have been able to shoot. As a wedding photographer I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it is to be able to shoot a great wedding and still be home in time to go out on a date with my amazing wife. HereĀ  are a few of my favorites from the day.

  1. Colleen Dustin says: Beautiful images, great lighting! Great job!!!

So what if it was last year!

I shot Katie and Dave’s wedding last October at James Arthur Vineyard just outside Lincoln, NE. The couple got married a few months earlier and decided to do a small ceremony with friends and family. Katie told me in our first meeting there was one thing she had to have and that was great portraits. It was a pretty cold day but they braved the cold and I think we achieved our goal.

A little something different

March 17th, 2010

Last week I was in Vegas at WPPI. The worlds largest wedding and portrait photographer convention and trade show. One of the nights I went out with a friend Victor Sizemore to a shoot he had planned in the desert. The shoot was styled by another friend from high school - Grey Likes Weddings. It’s not what I normally do… you know shooting models in a dry lake bed in the middle of the desert. But if you’ve read my blog in the past you know that I believe it is important to step out and stretch yourself as a photographer if you are going to continue to grow. Here are a few from the shoot.
